William the Conqueror is on my maternal great-grandfather Charles Griner's paternal side, his 5x great-grandmother Priscilla Burnett was a great-grandchild of Alexander Burnett, 11th Laird of Leys and the Hon. Katherine Arbuthnot of Fiddies.

There is currently only ONE confirmed line that connect to nobility and royalty.

Lady Janet Hamilton was a great-granddaughter of Princess Mary, Countess of Arran and James Hamilton, 1st Lord Hamilton by their 3rd son Robert Hamilton, Seigneur d'Aubigny.
